First Snow in Niseko! Winter Is Just Around the Corner❄︎
October 9, 2025 – First Snow on Mt. Yotei

Mt. Yotei saw its first snow of the season on October 9, 2025 —11 days earlier than last year and 6 days later than the average year.
This beautiful sight of the iconic peak covered in white signals that winter is just around the corner in Niseko.
October 19, 2025 – First Snow on Mt. Annupuri
Just ten days later, on October 19, the peak of Mt. Annupuri also turned white for the first time this season — one day earlier than last year!

From the Hanazono area, we can clearly see the mountains dusted with snow — a stunning contrast against the autumn foliage. It is a magical moment — a beautiful reminder that winter is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited.

The combination of colorful autumn leaves and the first snow is something truly special, a fleeting moment when two seasons blend together — as if nature itself is handing over the baton from autumn to winter.
