Hanazono’s First True Mountain Bike Trails
In summer 2026, Niseko Hanazono Resort will unveil its first-ever mountain bike trails.
Take the summer gondola to the summit and descend through breathtaking alpine scenery on the 4,212m downhill trail “Hanazono Skyline,” featuring a smooth, flow-style ride with minimal pedaling. At the base, the 1,360m beginner-friendly Green Trail “Mori Loop” offers an accessible introduction to mountain biking for first-timers and families alike.
A world-famous powder snow destination in winter, admired by riders from around the globe, now transforms into an entirely new playground for mountain biking. Carve your way down the same iconic slopes in summer and experience a downhill adventure found nowhere else.

Bike Rentals
Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm
At the resort rental shop “Niseko Sports,” we offer high-quality mountain bike rentals. A wide range of bikes is available, including Kids, Youth, Standard, and Premium models, allowing you to choose the perfect bike based on your skill level and riding style. Prices vary depending on the rental plan. For more details, please visit the rental page and find the perfect setup for your ride.
What to Expect
What to Wear & Bring
- A MTB helmet is required while riding.
- Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes (e.g., sneakers).
- For the Hanazono Skyline, protective gear, gloves, and a full-face helmet are recommended (rental available).
- You may bring your own mountain bike. Rental bikes are also available.
NOTE
- Entry and riding are prohibited outside operating days and hours.
- If using your own MTB, please ensure it is in proper working condition. Unsafe equipment or inappropriate attire may be refused for safety reasons.
- Guests who are intoxicated, pregnant, or feeling unwell are not permitted to participate. If discovered, participation will be refused without refund.
- In case of emergency or injury, please call 080-1979-9272 or ask nearby riders for assistance in calling for help or providing first aid.
- We recommend that riders carry appropriate sports insurance. Please check your insurance coverage before use.
