Doumin Wari application
For guests who booked Activities with Doumin wari: Please note below in addition to each activity's preparation remarks.
- ID to certify the residency of the above area, and Certification of Covid vaccination is required to be presented at check-in. (Not for children aged 12 and under with parent/guardian.)
- No ID required for children under 15 with parent or guardian.
- Images on the phone or copies are usable.
In case the certificate is not presented at the reception, we are unable to apply the discount and regular prices will be applied.

- Cameras & electronic devices - Please do not bring any cameras, electronic devices with you on the river. We have professional photographers that will take action shots of your tour. Photo CDs are available for purchase for ¥2,000.
- Other Valuables - When bringing any valuables please remember to store them in the lockers provided
What to Wear
You may be wondering what to bring on your Hanazono water rafting adventure and for good reason. You will be fitted out with a dry or wet suit but as we run rafting tours rain or shine you are likely to get wet, so it’s a good idea to be prepared no matter what kind of river tour you have planned.
We recommend that you wear loose fitting clothes, avoid skirts, jeans and any material that does not stretch. Please also keep in mind the river water can remain cold throughout the year so please ensure you bring an extra layer of clothing.
- Clothing - We recommend a short-sleeved shirt and shorts in Mid Summer (mid-July – late August) and a long-sleeved shirt and long pants in Spring and Autumn.
- Glasses - If you wear glasses, we can provide you with a string so you don’t lose them on the river.
- Contact lenses - Please either change to glasses or only wear disposable contact lenses. You may also wear goggles over your contact lenses.
- Watches/Jewelry - Please remove all watches, jewelry before you arrive.
- Shoes - You will be fitted out with river booties for your trip, there is no need for socks.
Getting Fitted Out
Once you are ready, our guides will instruct you on how to get fitted out. Below is the standard for the majority of our river trips.
①Helmet
Protect your head from impact.
②Life jacket
It has strong buoyancy and you will not drown even if you fall off the boat.
③Drysuit
Tethered type waterproof suit. The wrists, ankles, and neck are made of thin rubber, and the zipper around the body is waterproof. However, since it is not tailor-made, it may be flooded due to the individual body's differences or too much movement.
④River shoes
Shoes made of the same materials as wetsuits. They have a mechanism that keeps your foot warm even when they're wet.

Getting Fitted Out
Once you are ready, our guides will instruct you on how to get fitted out. Below is the standard for our Canyoning trips.
①HELMET
Be sure to wear it for safety reasons.
②LIFE JACKET
With a life jacket, you don't have to worry about drowning.
③WET SUIT
The water inside the suit is warmed by your body heat and keeps you warm. The moderate thickness and elasticity will protect your body.
④RIVER SHOES
The shoes are made of the same material as a wetsuit. The seawater that comes inside warms the entire foot.

River Fishing

- Since you fish in a natural river, you may not always catch fish.

What to Wear
- We recommend wearing long sleeves to protect against mosquitoes. Also, we recommend avoiding flashy colors.
- Waders are waterproof, but water can sometimes go in. We recommend that you wear trousers that can get wet, just in case.
- Watches/Jewelry - Please remove all watches, jewelry before you arrive.
- Waders with boots are provided but please wear walking shoes when you come. *Please provide your shoe size at the time of booking.
What to Bring
- A hat, jackets, a raincoat according to the weather.
- Water, snacks if needed.
- You can bring a backpack, but there is a possibility of getting wet.
- A change of clothes in case you get wet.
- You can bring your cameras or electric devices at your own responsibility.

To protect against mosquitoes, we recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants.

Change into waders with boots.

- Using a bug spray is recommended during the tour if necessary.
- Hiking equipment is needed for Iwaonupuri Course.
Please prepare sturdy shoes (hiking/climbing shoes are recommended), a hat, a bug spray, and rainwear.
Mountain Lights
Please come to the entrance gate in the resort.

- Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

- This is an outdoor exhibition on nature. We recommend that you prepare insect repellant.
- Please ask staff at exit if you wish to make re-entry on the same day.
- We may close without advance notice due to weather conditions.
- Gondola operation may be temporarily suspended or cancelled due to strong winds.

- Lockers (charged) are available in resort center 308.
Getting Fitted Out

What to Wear
Niseko is a mountain area and thus the elevation is higher than in most cities. In addition to the high elevation, the tour would mainly be downhill so you may feel a bit chilly. Make sure you are dressed in an outfit you can exercise in. Would be better if you bring along a light windproof jacket.
- Shoes - No sandals or shoes with heels. Any shoe that you are used to wearing and is fit for exercise would be best.
What to Bring
- Change of clothes, towels, drinks - as you may sweat during the tour, we recommend you change to something dry after the tour.
- Other valuables - when bringing any valuables please remember to store them in the lockers provided
Getting Fitted Out
Once you are ready, our guides will instruct you on how to get fitted out. The below is the standard for our Cycling Tours.
①HELMET
Be sure to wear it for safety reasons.
②GROVES
Wear them to prevent slipping and injury.
*Padded short tights are also available.

Sea Kayaking

*You can also meet at the venue, please contact us if you wish to do so. (The venue will vary depending on the conditions of the day.)

- Basically, we go sea kayaking in Shakotan Peninsula, but this will be subject to change according to weather and sea conditions.
- Times of the tours are approximate. It may vary depending on the progress of the tour, and traffic conditions.

What to Bring
- A full change of clothes, underwear, towel, hat (with a chinstrap recommended), and sunglasses.
- Drinks in plastic bottles or water bottles.
- A windbreaker or raincoat can be useful when the temperature is low.
- Cameras & electronic devices - You can bring them at your own responsibility.
- If you are sensitive to motion sickness, we recommend that you take or bring anti-sickness medication.
What to Wear
We recommend you wear swimwear or underwear that can get wet.
Please come to the meeting point after changing your clothes if possible.
- Swimwear or underwear that can get wet should be worn over a quick-drying synthetic shirt and shorts.
- Watches/Jewelry - Please remove all watches, jewelry before you arrive.
- Shoes - wear something comfortable in the water and have a strap on the heel. Wear diving boots if you have, but trainers are fine if you don't mind getting wet. Do not wear sports sandals or thongs.
Getting Fitted Out
Once you are ready, our guides will instruct you on how to get fitted out. The below is the standard for our Sea Kayaking trips.
①HAT
Wear it to avoid the strong sunlight of the ocean. A hat with a chinstrap is recommended.
②LIFE JACKET
With a life jacket, you don't have to worry about drowning.
③CLOTHES
Swimwear or underwear that can get wet should be worn over a quick-drying synthetic shirt and shorts are recommended.
④SHOES
Wear diving boots if you have. Or, something comfortable in the water and have a strap on the heel.

Ocean Fishing

What to Bring
- We recommend taking/bringing motion sickness pills in case of seasickness.
- There may be days that you may feel cold on the boat, we recommend that you prepare an extra outer.

- A cooler for taking fish home to Niseko. (Styrofoam box and ice are available if you don't have a cooler.)
- Cameras & electronic devices on your own responsibility.
What to Wear
- We recommend you wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting wet.
- Shoes - No sandals without a backstrap or shoes with heels. Any non-slip shoes that you are used to wearing would be good. Rubber boots are the best if you have them.

Once you are ready, our guides will instruct you on how to get fitted out. The below is the standard for our Ocean Fishing Tours.
①HAT/CAP, SUNGLASSES
Wear it depending on the weather conditions.

A raincoat will be provided, so please wear it to avoid getting wet.

Golf Cart Tour

Tree Trekking
Meeting spot and time

NOTE
- Children under 12 can participate with an adult guardian. Please include them in the number of participants of your booking.
- Platforms and elements are positioned at least 3 meters above the ground.
- Max 3 kids supervised per adult.
- When a group of under 18 but above junior high school age wish to participate without guardian, a written consent from a parent or guardian is required.
- Prior booking is not required however it is recommended.
- Tree Trekking course will close at 5:00 pm. The last entry is at 4:00 pm.
- It may be difficult for children to attach or detach the rope even if they meet the height requirement of 120 cm or more.
What to Bring
- Active clothing and gloves (dots gloves recommended) that guests don't mind potentially getting dirty. Gloves are available for purchase at Niseko Sports.
- Cameras & electronic devices: The harness you will wear has a strong magnet, which will affect your cell phone and credit cards. If you wish to bring them with you, please keep them in your left breast pocket and understand that they may be lost or damaged and that you are responsible for them.
- As we're right in the natural forest, there are insects when the temperature rises. Use of repellent is recommended.
What to Wear
- During Tree Trekking, there is a possibility of getting tree sap on your clothes which is very difficult to remove. Raincoats are available for purchase at Niseko Sports to protect clothing from tree sap.
- We recommend shoes with good grip. When the snow melts or the ground is wet after rain, the shoes can easily get dirty.
- For safety reasons, we recommend that you tie up your long hair and wear something less revealing.

①HELMET
Be sure to wear it provided by Hanazono.
②HARNESS AND CARABINERS
They are necessary for safety reasons.

Keep them in your left breast pocket if you wish to bring them along.

Hanazono Zip World (Zipline)

- Each tour operates with Minimum 1 / Maximum 8 person

- Please go to the bathroom at the reception before the tour starts.
- Trial package guests will take the gondola down on their own. (No accompanying guide)
What to wear
- Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes.
- No heels or sandals.
- Eye protection or sunglasses is required. Free eye wear rental is available. (Sunglasses can be purchased in resort)
- Due to the high speeds it is recommended not to wear skirts, dresses or overly loose clothing and to tie up hair.
- Hokkaido mountain weather changes rapidly especially outside summer peak days. Please wear warm clothing: jacket, globes, and neck covers are recommended.
What to bring
- Small shoulder bags that can be secured in front of body are permitted.
- Smart phone, cameras and drinks permitted on tour. However must be stored during zipline.
- Items lost during zipline are unrecoverable.
- Lockers are available in Resort Center Hanazono 308.
Getting Fitted Out
Helmet and Harness set will be secured by your guide. We recommend that you are well covered as you hit the speed in the air!

②HARNESS set
Provided by Hanazono. Staff will secure it for you.
③Only allowed bags are small bags that can be slung over the shoulder and secured at the front (and can be zipped).

Photo
- Filming by using hand mounts are permitted all time. Without using hand mounts not permitted while zipline.
- Rental action camera with hand mounts available at cost of ¥3,800 per unit on limited quantity. Advanced booking not available.

- This is an outdoor English camp for kids conducted by Edventure.
- Camp will be all in English.
- Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary preferences.
- The price is for two people - one child and one adult; there is no change for a single participant.
- Please do not bring cell phones or other electronic devices to enjoy life in nature.
- Please pick up and drop off your children.
- Our staff will take videos and photos, and the data will be emailed to you after the camp.
- Mini Moiwa and Moiwa programs are available to children who have completed toilet training.
- In case of bad weather, a mini-camp will be held, but only children will be welcome.
What to Bring
- Change of clothes, small towels, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, insect repellent, swimsuits, etc. depending on the camp.
- Bring food and drinks if you need them.
What to Wear
- Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
- Depending on the activity, there is a possibility of wetting and getting your shoes and clothes dirty.
- It may get cold in the mornings and evenings, so please bring clothes that are easy to adjust.
Fun Kayak & Fishing Rental

What to Wear
Fun Kayak Rental
- We recommend guests wear light, water-appropriate clothing such as swimmers with shorts and a rash top or lightweight clothes that can get wet. Life jackets are required (free rental)
- River shoes or rubber sandals are recommended.
- Make sure to have appropriate sun protection like sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and a long-sleeve shirt if possible.
Fishing Rental
- High heels are not recommended, as there will be some walking in unpaved areas. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Lift jackets are available upon request.

- Rental time is 45-minute units. Please inform the front desk of your preferred rental time on the day of use.
- This is an activity to rent and play in the lake of Hanazono Beach. No instructor is provided.
- The lake at Hanazono Beach will be separated into two sections for fishing and kayaking to ensure safety.
- Life jackets are available for rent to all participants in activities at Hanazono Beach. All fun kayakers must wear them. Fishing kayakers can rent them upon request.
