Saddle up in Niseko's Winter Wonderland
Enjoy a horseback riding experience at a ranch at the foot of Mount Yotei. This is a relaxing, beginner-friendly experience where you can take in the snowy scenery while riding and feel the gentle sway of the horse.
Friendly horses will welcome you. You’ll start by practicing in an enclosed area before heading out to the open fields, so even first-time riders can feel confident. After the ride, you can enjoy photo opportunities as well as feeding and brushing the horses (weather permitting).
This experience is perfect for creating lasting memories with family and friends amid Niseko’s stunning scenery.
Winter Horse Riding Tour
Price ¥20,000 / person
- Duration: 60 min（45 min. riding, 15 min. mingling with horses)
- Starting times: 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm
- Age: 6 years old - 65 and under / Weight: up to 85kg
- Minimum: 2 people, maximum of 5 people per tour
*This is a private tour for beginners.
What To Bring
- Wear comfortable, warm clothing. Snow wear recommended.
- Gloves and beanie
- Snow shoes, and boots/rubber boots. *If your shoes are too wide, they may not fit in the stirrup that you put your feet in while riding. Rubber boots available for rental (¥500).
- Helmets provided (mandatory).
Meeting Spot and Time
Not at Hanazono. Please check in directly at the following location.
- The tour takes place on a farm at the foot of Mt. Yotei, 8 km from Hanazono (20 minutes by car).
- Pick-up and drop-off service is available at Kutchan, Hanazono and Hirafu area accommodation facilities. The meeting time for pick-up will be announced by e-mail after the booking is confirmed.
- Please note that you will not be able to join the tour if you are late for the meeting.
