Payment
- Full payment is required by the payment deadline provided at the time of booking. If payment is not received by the deadline, the booking will be automatically canceled.
Cancellation and Changes
General Policy
- Cancellations received 2 days prior to the booking will incur no cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received 1 day prior to the booking will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received on the day of the tour will incur a full 100% cancellation fee.
Ocean Fishing
- Cancellations received 4 days prior to the booking will incur no cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received 3 days prior to the booking will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received on the day of the tour will incur a full 100% cancellation fee.
Mountain Lights
- Tickets are non-refundable.
Kids' Camps
- Cancellations received 15 days or more from the date of use: No cancellation fee
- Cancellations received 14 days or less from the date of use: 50% cancellation fee
- Cancellations received 3 days or less from the date of use: 100% cancellation fee
General Terms
- Cancellation fees will be charged for any booking changes or delays to the meeting time.
- May be canceled without prior notice due to weather conditions or other circumstances. No cancellation fee will be charged if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
- If the participation requirements are not met, we may refuse your participation. In that case, refunds will not be provided.
- Participation is not allowed for individuals who are under the influence of alcohol, pregnant, or unwell. If such conditions are discovered, participation will be denied. In such cases, refunds will not be provided.
- Guests may be filmed or photographed during the lesson, tour, or activity. Guests are required to notify Hanazono if they do not consent to media being used for promotional purposes.
- Hanazono strongly recommends guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected costs incurred by travel delays, injury, or illness.
- Hanazono will not be held liable for any accidents that occur before, during, or after the tour.
- Refunds will only be issued in the event of illness or injury, where the guest presents a valid medical certificate from a local hospital or physiotherapist in Japan, stating that the guest was incapacitated. The refund will only apply to the reservation for the individual named on the medical certificate.
Terms and Conditions by Product
- For safety reasons, no items other than activity equipment (cameras, mobile phones, etc.) are allowed on the river.
- Guests between the ages of 13 and 18 may participate in the tour without a parent or guardian, but a parental consent form is required.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian (one guardian can accompany up to three children).

- Even if a child is over 120cm tall, children around 6 to 8 years old may find it difficult to attach and detach the carabiner.
- The harness contains a strong magnet, which may affect mobile phones, electronic devices, and credit cards. If you bring them, it is recommended to store them in the left pocket at your own risk.
- Children 12 and under can participate with an adult guardian. Please include any accompanying adult in the number of participants in your booking.

- Weight Limit may alter by weather conditions. We may ask to check weight with the scale that shows the weight range.
- Smartphones and cameras are allowed at your own risk. However, shooting while ziplining is allowed only when straps or other fall-prevention items are attached. Lost items cannot be retrieved by our staff or searched for by the guests.
- The automatic video system records videos of all participants. Those who don’t purchase will have their footage deleted after a certain period and not shared with third parties.
- Please note that the automatic video system may not function properly due to weather conditions or system issues.
- There is no age limit, but one parent/guardian aged 18 or over must attend.
- Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. As there is only one observer on duty, we may ask a parent or guardian to assist children who have difficulty attaching or detaching the self-belay by themselves.
- Children aged 18 and less must be accompanied by an adult.
- You may bring your own bag, but it may get wet. Backpacks are recommended.
- Cameras & electronic devices on your own responsibility.
- For the horse riding tour, children under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Please include them in the booking.
- Smartphones and cameras are not acceptable during the tour, as you hold the reins.
- For the pony day out, children who cannot walk independently must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary preferences.
- Please do not bring cell phones or other electronic devices to enjoy life in nature.
- Our staff will take videos and photos, and the data will be emailed to you after the camp.
- Due to road conditions, there is a possibility of water splashing and staining your clothes.
- If you wear loose-fitting pants, please be aware that the cuffs may come into contact with the chain and get dirty, especially with black marks.
