Nihon Harmony Resorts KK. and other Group companies (hereinafter referred to collectively as “the Group”) recognize the importance of protecting your personal information in order to maintain your trust. The Group has established the following policy, based on the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter “Personal Information Protection Act”) and other relevant laws and ordinances, and its officers and employees are committed to working together to protect your private information.
For the purposes of this policy, the term “the Group” shall refer but not limited to Pacific Century Premium Developments Limited, Nihon Harmony Resorts KK, Niseko Management Service KK, Harmony TMK and their subsidiaries, affiliates, equity-method companies and other business partners to be designated separately. SCOPE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Group asks you to provide your personal information (name, address, telephone number, etc.) within the scope of its business purposes. The Group treats the personal information you provide, such as your address, name and telephone number, and any automatically collected data as your personal information.

During transmission, the Group encrypts all personal information you provide when making reservations or inquiries via its websites (using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)), and maintains high levels of security.
PURPOSE OF USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Group may use the personal information you provide for the purpose of fulfilling contracts or processing transactions you have entered into with us, providing you with information we consider useful or suitable for you, including introducing you to products, services, and new developments we offer, or conducting market research and other marketing activities. The Group may use your personal information for the following purposes and not for any other purpose.
- Informing you or contacting you about reservations and inquiries.
- Contacting you when you make a reservation using its online reservation services.
- Contacting you in an emergency while you are using its facilities.
If the Group judges it necessary to contact you, it may use your personal information to contact you by telephone.
- Informing you about promotions and services, new developments and events.
The Group will stop sending you emails and other mail to you if you indicate that you do not wish to receive any further communications.

The Group may share your personal information between group companies in order to provide you with a full range of services and higher levels of service.

Group websites use a programming function known as “cookies” when you enter your personal information to make reservations and inquiries, in order to provide you with higher levels of service. “Cookies” is a term used to describe information that is sent to your computer by the webserver. This website uses “cookies” for the purpose of providing you with appropriate information and ensuring your security, and they do not include any personal information that would allow you to be identified.
COLLECTION OF ACCESS LOG
Group sites record information about those who have accessed them in the form of an access log. The access log includes information such as the domain name and IP address of those who have accessed the sites, the type of web browser they are using and the date and time the sites were accessed. This information does not contain information that would allow individuals to be identified. The access log is used to maintain and manage the websites and to conduct statistical analysis about usage, and is never used for any other purpose.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Group will never disclose your personal information to third parties outside the group without your consent. However, it may make disclosures to third parties in the following cases. If we use or disclose your personal information, we will inform you of the personal information that will be disclosed with your consent.
- If it has received a formal inquiry from a public body such as a court of law or the police.
- If it has obtained your consent to disclosure.

Other personal information about you that is not shared will be managed in an appropriate manner by those responsible for management at Nihon Harmony Resorts KK.

CURRENTLY CONDUCTING DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS BY TOURIST DESTINATION DEVELOPMENT COMPANIES IN COLLABORATION WITH ACCOMMODATIONS AND OTHER FACILITIES
The Niseko Promotion Board is conducting "Data Collection and Analysis by Tourist Destination Development Companies in Collaboration with Accommodations and Other Facilities" as put forth in 2020 by the Japan Tourism Agency. In this project, we are conducting a survey of regional tourism trends by collecting and analyzing visitor data in order to improve customer convenience and promote tourism for the future. The results of these surveys will allow us improve service quality by better understanding customer needs.
Collected data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify individuals.
This facility is conducting the above survey. If you do not wish to be involved, please inform the staff.
