A 20% non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days of receiving yourbooking confirmation.
Reservation can be held for a maximum of 7 days - if payment is not received after 7 days, the hold will be released.
Final Payment
The final balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
If your booking is made less than 30 days prior to your arrival, 100% non-refundable payment is required within 7 days.
Reservations made within 14 days of the commencement date must be paid in full at the time the booking is created.
Cancellation of Reservation
Cancellations/reductions of paid reservations made more than 30 days prior to the commencement date will be refunded 80% of the value. (i.e. loss of deposit)
Cancellations/reductions of paid reservations made within 30 days of the commencement date will not be refunded.
Cancellations of paid reservations made within 30 days of the commencement date will only be refunded in the event of illness or injury whereby a guest must present a valid medical certificate from a Japanese local hospital or Japanese local physiotherapist stating the guest was incapacitated. The refund will only be offered to the guest whose name appears on the medical certificate.
In the case of a private lesson/tour booked for more than 1 person, a refund or reschedule will not be offered if 1 participant is ill or injured. A Japanese local medical certificate or Japanese local physiotherapist certificate for each person in the product would be required to receive a refund or reschedule.
Change to Bookings
Requests for booking alterations made more than 72 hours prior to the booking date are possible but subject to availability.
Requests for booking alterations made within 72 hours of the booking date are not possible. These alterations include:
Changes to the product start time
Transferring product to other guests
Changes to product meeting point
General Terms
For any reason, we will not extend or reschedule due to the guest's late arrival. No refund is offered for late arrival.
Guests must not consume alcohol on the day of their lesson, tour, or activity. If alcohol is consumed, participation will not be permitted, and the reservation will be treated as canceled. Refunds will not be provided in this case.
Guests may be filmed or photographed during the lesson, tour, or activity. Guests are required to notify Hanazono if they do not consent to media being used for promotional purposes.
Hanazono strongly recommends guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected costs incurred by travel delays, injury, or illness.
Hanazono will not be held liable for any accidents that occur before, during, or after the tour.
NISS will operate regardless of weather conditions and lift operations. Compensation cannot be made for weather or operational conditions outside the control of NISS. In the case of inclement weather, the instructor will choose suitable terrain that may require travel by shuttle bus to other parts of the resort or remaining in flat, sheltered areas.
NISS will not be held liable for any accidents that occur before, during, or after the lesson.
NISS lessons will not be extended or rescheduled due to the late arrival of the guest for any reason. No refund is offered for late arrival.
Lift passes are obligatory for all guests and are not included in the lesson price. A Hanazono-Hirafu Pass is recommended for Levels 1 – 3. A Niseko United Lift Pass is recommended for Levels 4 – 5.
Requests for particular instructors cannot be guaranteed. If a requested instructor is not available, NISS reserves the right to allocate another instructor without providing notice to the guest.
All group lessons are conducted in English. Private Lessons can be conducted in an alternative language upon request and instructor availability.
HPG/NWPC Tours may be suspended if a guide deems the guest’s safety cannot be assured due to inclement weather and/or unfavorable snow conditions.
When suspension of a tour is made before a lift has been ridden, the tour will be rescheduled to the next available day.
When suspension of a tour is made within the first half of the tour, 50% of the HPG tour fee and 40% of the NWPC tour fee will be refunded.
When suspension of a tour is made within the second half of the tour, the tour fee will not be refunded.
If fewer than 7 people have signed up for a Weiss Group Tour by 4:00pm the night before, the tour will be canceled. The guest is required to supply a valid phone number to be contacted to be notified of this cancellation.
A transfer service will be provided to and from the guest’s accommodation in Niseko Area. The guest is required to be fully dressed and ready, a minimum of 10 minutes before the advised pick-up time. A no-show to a scheduled pick-up will result in the cancellation of your booking, with no refund offered.
Guests must be at least 12 years old on the day of the tour and meet the minimum ability requirements. Guests aged 12 to 15 must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian over 18 years. If a participant under the age of 12 is found to be on the tour, we reserve the right to cancel the booking, and no changes or refunds will be issued.
Guests aged 16 and 17 must have a written waiver from a responsible parent or guardian over 18 years.
The HPG tour includes free rental of an avalanche pack with a beacon, probe, and shovel. If the guest chooses to bring their own, they are required to have a sound understanding of operating their equipment.
A valid lift pass is required for HPG tours. This is not included in the tour cost and must be arranged by the guest before the tour commences.
Safety is of utmost importance to HPG/NWPC. All guests must partake in a safety briefing, and obey the guide’s directions at all times. Should any guest be found to be putting themselves, others, or guides in danger, they will be immediately removed from the tour with no refund offered.
The guest is required to meet the minimum riding standard and be riding in control at all times.
Hanazono Adventure Park may be suspended if a guide deems the guest’s safety cannot be assured due to inclement weather and/or unfavorable snow conditions.
When suspension of activity is made prior to the activity commencing, the activity can be rescheduled to the next available day.
Activities will not be extended or rescheduled due to the late arrival of the guest for any reason. No refund is offered for late arrival.
For Tandem Snowmobiles, guests need to be 7 years and older and a minimum of 120cm in height, accompanied by a driver 18 years and older. For Single Riders, the guest must be 13 years and older to ride independently.
For Hanazono Zipflight, guests need to be 6 years and older. Age between 6 and 12 inclusive, accompanied by a guardian of 18 years and older. Age between 13 and 17 inclusive, waiver required by guardian of 18 years older. Weight must be between 30 and 105kg.
Online Bookings can be made up to 4 days prior to the start date. After this, bookings can be made directly at Niseko Sports stores on the day of the start.
Cancellations of paid reservations made more than 1 day prior to the product date will receive a full refund.
Cancellation or amendments within 1 day of booking start day are possible by guests directly to Niseko Sports/Diamond X Sport. In this situation, guests will receive store credit of equal value to the canceled or amended portion of the booking. Store credit is valid for the duration of the guest's stay at the specific Niseko Sports or Diamond X Sports location where the booking was originally made.
In case the total payment of the amended booking exceeds the paid amount of the original booking, the payment can be made at Niseko Sports stores.
In the event of cancellations due to inquiries, illness, flight cancellations, or mountain closures, a refund will be issued if appropriate documentation is provided.
