For preschoolers

Traveling with the cutest children is fun, but you still need to take care of them. And finding activities for them is hard work. Here you will find information on products, activities, and services for preschoolers.

Skiing and Snowboarding

Skiing and snowboarding with the whole family will give you wonderful memories, and Hanazono offers a variety of products to help your children begin their snowsport adventure.

Rental - Hanazono's rental store, Niseko Sports, offers children's skis in boot sizes from 15.5cm and skis from about 100cm tall.

Children's snowboards are available from 16.5 cm boots and 110 cm boards.

Retail - Niseko Sports is proud to offer an extensive selection of clothing for the little ones, accessories such as beanies, gloves, and goggles, and other items to make snow activities more fun.

Lift Tickets - Two types of lift tickets available at Hanazono, and both are free for preschoolers. To issue lift tickets, please visit Lift Ticket Counter in the resort center Hanazono 308.

Niseko All Mountain Lift Ticket grants access to all four mountains making up the Niseko United area and the Hanazono and Grand Hirafu Lift Ticket covers the Hanazono and Hirafu areas.

Snow Sports School - Hanazono's Snow Sports School NISS instructors are internationally qualified professionals with a passion for snow sports. With a full range of facilities and curriculums, we help small children make their first steps in snowsports.

Difficult to get free time for yourself during your trip? A full-day program for kids includes lunch, so adults can enjoy their own time while they take lessons.

*To assist in reducing the spread of COVID-19, NISS Group Programs will be suspended during the 20-21 season.

Ski Resort - Silver Dream is a 3,300-meter long beginner course that runs from the Hanazono Quad Lift No.2 to the base of the mountain. The course is perfect for families with small children.

Afraid of lifts? Then, use Hanazono Bowl at the bottom area! The "Magic Carpet" conveyor belt-style lifts ideal for beginner skiers and boarders and is available for free.

Activities

Here are some activities you can enjoy with your children. You'll remember these experiences forever.

Tube Park - An exciting activity to ride a rubber tube on a snowy course! Available for ages 3 and up, and fun for the whole family.

With the "magic carpet" by the course, you can easily get to the starting point so there's no need to trek! Enjoy your time until the last minutes.

Snow Rafting - Let's go on an adventure through the beautiful forests of Hanazono in a rubber rafting boat! This is a safe tour that even small children can enjoy, as it is led by experienced staff on snowmobiles. We recommend this activity to those who want to create and leave a beautiful family memory in the winter wonderland.

Childcare Service - Whether you are looking for a quality daycare service, an experienced nanny, baby equipment rentals, or celebrating your child’s birthday in Hanazono, Niseko, Niseko Kids Club in Hanazono 308 have been an integral part of creating happy holiday memories for families visiting Niseko.

Rentals - Hanazono's rental store, Niseko Sports, offers a wide range of rental products! From skis and snowboards that are easy for beginners to those for enjoying the powder snow, you can find products that are best suited for your needs. For advanced backcountry skiers, safety equipment is also available for rent.

Retail - Niseko Sports is proud to offer an extensive selection of clothing and accessories to make your riding in Niseko more enjoyable.

Lift Tickets - Two types of lift tickets are available - Niseko All Mountain Lift Ticket which grants access to all four mountains making up the Niseko United area and the HANAZONO and Grand Hirafu Lift Ticket which covers the Hanazono and Hirafu areas. Both tickets are available at Hanazono 308 Lift Ticket Counter.

You can purchase a lift ticket at a discounted rate than buying at a ticket office. Enjoy faster access to the lift gates. Online lift pass allows you to skip lift ticket counter queues.

Ski Resort - Hanazono has a total of three lifts and nine courses, including beginner, intermediate and advanced courses. The slopes located on the northeast side of the mountain are well known for their good powder snow conditions that last longer.

"Niseko All Mountain Lift Ticket" grants access to all four ski resorts in Niseko United, while the "Hanazono Grand Hirafu Lift Ticket" grants access to the adjacent Grand Hirafu, so you can enjoy the vast ski area of Niseko and not just Hanazono. Both lift tickets are available at Hanazono.

Terrain Park - Kicker-focused Hanazono Park is one of Hokkaido's biggest terrain parks! Jib parks and mini-parks are built from the beginning of the season, and as the snowfall increases, kickers and other items are added, so you can enjoy the changes throughout the season. Hanazono Park has a dedicated digger team that creates and maintains the park every day. Diggers also visit the park regularly, so feel free to ask them for tips and tricks for your first challenge.

Backcountry Guide - For families of advanced skiers and snowboarders, a backcountry adventure in Niseko will definitely be a highlight of your trip.

Official resort-operated backcountry guiding company works closely with the ski patrol, and experienced guides provide highly safe guided tours to the best spots of the day.

Riding the lifts before the general business hours and drawing first tracks on empty slopes is another unique and popular service.

Snowmobile Tour - Motorsport activity that gives you the chance to enjoy the outdoors in the snow country. The refreshing feeling of riding through the silvery-white land, the beautiful monochrome forest scenery, and the mountains beyond the snowfield on a clear day will surely take your breath away. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience!

All children over 120 cm tall and 6 years old can ride in the back seat of a two-seater snowmobile, and children over 12 years old can drive a single-seater snowmobile! Our guides will teach you how to operate the snowmobile and lead you around, so beginners are welcome.

Snowshoe Tours - Snowshoe is footwear for walking over deep snow. A peaceful stroll through the quiet Hanazono winter forest will bring you closer to the nature and snowy landscape of snow country.

If you think skiing or snowboarding is too difficult, but you like walking, this is the perfect activity for you. Available for 12 years old and older.

Horse Riding Tours - Our horse-riding tours for children 6 years old and up are set in a spectacular location at the foot of Mt. Yotei. Ride on the back of a well-trained and friendly horse through snowy forests and fields.
