On April 3, 2022, Niseko Hanazono Resort closed for the 21-22 season. We will now move into the green season, but here is a great vlog for next season.

He talks a lot about Hanazono, including the 10-person Hanazono Symphony Gondola and the 6-seater Hanazono Lift 1, which newly opened for the 21-22 season! If you can't wait until next winter, the summer gondola will be open this summer! The gondola will also be spinning for the spectacular 1.3-kilometer illumination event Mountain Lights, which opens this summer, and for one of the world's largest zip lines, so come and enjoy the new attractions on the gondola.

This week I had a free day and I decided to visit the Hanazono Resort in Niseko. I had yet to ride the new gondola and 6 person chair lift that opened from this season. I wanted to see and experience the design while exploring the mountain. I have been riding at Hanazono since the early 1990s shortly after it opened and it is interesting to see how the mountain has been developed and the many changes.
