Hanazono Beach is located in the resort. Surrounded by trees, the pond has a pebble shore and a pier. You can come empty-handed to enjoy yourself, as fishing gear and kayaks are available for rent.

Fishing Rental

Relax and enjoy the mountain atmosphere as you fish in a tranquil catchment at Hanazono Beach for rainbow trout, cherry salmon and mountain trout. You will receive everything you need to set up and fish to your heart's content for 60 minutes.

This is a catch-and-release activity. To gently release the fish, staff will assist in attaching bait to the hook and removing the fish's hook. For those who want to enjoy more advanced fishing, guided ocean and river fishing tours are also available.

Fun Kayak Rental

Get in a kayak and go on a water adventure! Cruise along the flat water with great views of the mountains in a lightweight Fun Kayak. Available for children ages 3 and up, this is a great opportunity to make family memories together.

Hanazono Beach activities are rental-based, meaning no instructors are provided. Staff is happy to give tips, however, the majority of the activity must be self-facilitated.
