Welcome to Niseko Hanazono Resort Guest Service Guide! We have created this manual to give you the information you need to be able to recommend and book the right services that will ensure your customers have a truly unforgettable experience,

Bookings
- Online bookings through RoomBoss take precedence.
- Dates that cannot be selected on the booking page are not available for booking.
- Our reservation team will contact you by phone or email to let you know if your request is accepted or not.
- Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that even if you are able to submit your request via the registration form, it might be full.
- Bookings can be made two months prior to the date of use in principle.
- Online booking is available until 3:00 pm one day in advance.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations received 2 days prior to the booking will incur no cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received 1 day prior to the booking will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations received on the day of the tour will incur a full 100% cancellation fee.
- No cancellation fee will be charged if the tour is cancelled due to bad weather conditions.
- Mountain Lights is non-refundable after ticket purchase.

HANAZONO ZIPFLIGHT
Two ziplines are set side by side, so you can experience it together with friends and family. Spectacular view of Hokkaido's landmark Mount Yotei the beauty of surrounding area as far as the eye can see from the sky is all yours.
Start with the less challenging MACH 1 and move on to the climax, MACH 3, while getting used to the three zip lines' height, speed, and flying style!
Take a summer gondola ride with your guide to the start of the tour. The view from the gondola is not to be missed!

What to wear
- Comfortable clothing. No skirts.
- Walking shoes. No heels or sandals.
- Protective eyewear is provided for free, but you may also wear your own sunglasses.
- Long hair should be bundled.
Getting Fitted Out
①Helmet
Wear what we provide or your own.
②Harness and Trolley
Put on a harness and carry the trolley with you.
③Other belongings
Small bags that Only small bags are allowed.

What to bring
- Smaller bags are allowed at your own risk. Some bags may not be allowed due to size or other reasons.
- Smartphones and cameras are only allowed if you wear a strap or other fall-prevention item.
- Items lost during zipline are unrecoverable.
- Pay lockers are available for other valuables.

Please check in at the main activities desk at Resort Center Hanazono 308.
*Please note that you will not be able to join the tour if you are late for the meeting.
Photography and Equipment
- Smartphones and cameras are only allowed if you wear a strap or other fall-prevention item.
- Lost items cannot be retrieved by our staff or searched for by the guests.
NOTE
- Number of ziplines may change from late May to early June due to weather and snow-melting conditions.
- Tour may be suspended due to weather conditions without prior notification.
- Children under 12 can participate with an adult guardian. Please include any accompanying adult in the number of participants in your booking.
- When a group under 18 but above junior high school age wishes to participate without guardian, written consent from a parent or guardian is required.
- Guests under the influence of alcohol, pregnant or in poor health are not welcome to participate.
- Please go to the bathroom at the reception before the tour starts.
- Weight Limit may alter by weather conditions. We may ask to check weight with the scale that shows the weight range.

Tree Trekking
The Most Thrilling Activity, the Biggest Tree Trekking in Hokkaido!
Feel on top of the world with Hanazono Tree Trekking, a series of 6 high ropes courses laid out among the trees for an exhilarating and challenging experience. Courses include platforms to progress to with unique paths between each to test your courage and problem-solving abilities. Courses range in level from Beginner to Intermediate so guests of all ages can be engaged.




Tree Trekking
Dates of Operation: April 29 - October 22, 2023
- Duration: Approx. 3 hours to finish all the courses
- Starting Times: 9:30am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm
- Adult: Age 13+ / Height 120cm + / Weight under 120kg / Waist under 100cm
- Child: Age 6+ / Height 120cm +

What to Wear/Prepare
- Gloves that can get dirty (non-slip gloves recommended). Available at Niseko Sports.
- Clothes that can get dirty (Pine sap is difficult to remove, even with laundering) Raincoats are available at Niseko Sports.
- Athletic shoes that can get dirty.
- Insect repellent.
Before the activity
- Please remove all watches, and jewelry before the tour.
- Long hair must be tied up for safety reasons.
Getting Fitted Out
①Helmet
Be sure to wear it provided.
②Harness & Carabiners
An essential item for safe enjoyment!
③Cameras & Electronic devices
Keep it in the left side chest pocket to avoid magnetism.

What to Bring
- The harness has strong magnets that can affect cell phones, electronic devices, and credit cards. You may carry it at your own risk in your left chest pocket where the magnets are less likely to interfere.
- Pay lockers are available for other valuables.

NOTE
- Platforms and elements are positioned at least 3 meters above the ground.
- After each course, you can go down to the ground.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. (Up to 3 children per parent/guardian)
- Guests between the ages of 12 and 18 may participate in the tour without a parent or guardian, but a parental consent form is required.
- It may be difficult for children to attach or detach the rope even if they meet the height requirement of 120 cm or more.
- When participating with children under 130 cm, it is best to have an adult in front of and behind the child.
- If you wish to leave the trekking area after attaching the harness, please ask a nearby staff.
- Guests under the influence of alcohol, pregnant or in poor health are not welcome to participate.

Rafting
Enjoy the clear Shiribetsu river with family and friends
Rafting is the most popular outdoor activity in Niseko. Jump into a rubber boat with your friends and challenge yourself to a trip down one of Hokkaido's most beautiful rivers, the Shiribetsu river. Along with your fellow crew and experienced guide, you will enjoy the thrills and excitement of rafting on whitewater. Based on the season, Hokkaido Rivers offer rafting trips suited to adventure seekers with the large snowmelt in the springtime, through to lower graded tours that the whole family can enjoy in summer. Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced outdoor sports fanatic, rafting is amazing fun and suitable for all ages.

Rafting

- Starting Times: 9:00am (meet 8:45) or 1:30pm (meet 1:15)
- Child price ages:3~12, adult rates apply for ages 13 and up.

What to Wear/Prepare
- Underwear, change of clothes, small towel
- Loose-fitting clothes that are easy to exercise in are optimal. Long sleeves/pants are recommended except in mid-summer. No jeans or skirts.
- Bringing extra contact lenses is recommended.
Before the Tour
- Please remove all watches, and jewelry before the tour.
- You will be fitted out with river booties.
- A strap to prevent glasses from falling is available.
Getting Fitted Out
①Helmet
Protect your head from impact.
②Life jacket
It has strong buoyancy and you will not drown even if you fall off the boat.
③Drysuit
Tethered type waterproof suit. Since the suit is not tailor-made, some water will get inside the suit.
④River shoes
Shoes made of the same materials as wetsuits. They have a mechanism that keeps your foot warm even when they're wet.

What to Bring

NOTE
- Guests under the influence of alcohol, pregnant or in poor health are not welcome to participate.
- In order to prevent accidents, except for rafting equipment, we do not allow guests to take personal belongings like a camera, mobile phone, etc. during the tour.
- Spring Rafting: scheduled to be available until early May, but will vary depending on water flow. If the spring course is not available on your booking date, we will notify you by e-mail in advance.
- Children under 5 are not allowed to join the tour during the water rise in May.
Rafting Pictures ¥1,000 (tax included)
Please feel free to ask your guide or the staff if you would like to purchase it. A QR code is ready to download pictures after the activity.
- There is a minimum of 20 pictures included in the package. Depending on the weather and water level, the number may be less.
- We take pictures from picture spots on the course.
- Please note that not every scene you pose is captured since we take photos while moving.
- The picture spot is varied depending on the reservation and weather conditions, so the shooting scenes are different on each tour.
Mountain Lights
Night in Hanazono with the Art of Light
“Mountain Lights” is an immersive large-scale art installation of light held in the summer, set in the vast nature of the all-season “Niseko Hanazono Resort” in Niseko, Hokkaido. This spectacular outdoor exhibition of light will be the first installation in Japan by British artist Bruce Munro.
There are two ways to admire Mountain Lights. Visitors will have spectacular views of the entire artwork while traveling to the very top of the installation.
Stepping out of the gondola cabins, visitors will walk slowly through the lights, communing intimately with them, with the atmosphere and with nature.

Opening hours are set shortly before sunset. To see the installation art clearly and vividly, we recommend that you arrive approximately 30 minutes after the opening time.

What to Bring
- Make sure you are dressed in comfortable clothings and shoes (no high heels).
- Use of bug spray is recommended as this is an outdoor exhibit in nature.
- Pay lockers are available for other valuables.
How to Enter
- Please enter through the entrance gate via Resort Center Hanazono 308.
- Please have your QR code ticket ready when you pass through the gate. The QR code is included in the email you received when you made your booking.
Pet
- You can bring your pets on a leash or in a cage. 500 yen admission ticket is required.
- Please be considerate to the guests around you, as some of them are not fond of animals or have allergies to them. Please take your excrement home with you.
Children
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
NOTE
- We may close without advance notice due to weather conditions.
- Gondola operation may be temporarily suspended or cancelled due to strong winds.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
