Discover Padel: The Sport Captivating Millions Worldwide

This new padel facility was made possible through a partnership with PADEL+, a Hong Kong-based organization leading the growth of padel across Asia. PADEL+ was founded by Weston Yu and his son, Curtis Yu, with a shared vision to bring world-class padel experiences to the region. Their first club in Sai Kung, Hong Kong, has become a popular hub for sports enthusiasts, families, and corporate groups alike.

PADEL+ is known not only for its premium facilities, but also for its commitment to community-driven events and environmental innovation, including the use of decentralized clean energy systems. The new courts in Niseko are built to international standards and are suitable for both recreational and competitive play. A wide range of programs—including beginner-friendly lessons and community-based activities—are planned to encourage participation and foster new connections through sport.

Located within Niseko Hanazono Resort and adjacent to the luxury Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono, the new padel courts offer a high-quality, accessible activity for resort guests and visitors to the Niseko area. As a facility open to the public, it also aims to support community health, well-being, and the promotion of an active lifestyle.

Curtis Yu, co-founder of PADEL+, commented:
"We’re proud to work with Niseko Hanazono Resort to bring a new and exciting sport to Hokkaido. This opening is just the beginning — we believe padel has the power to connect people through fun and community."
