Louis Vuitton Design Yurt and Gondolas Introduced at Niseko Hanazono Resort
For a limited time from Friday, December 15, 2023 to Sunday, February 25, 2024, the Louis Vuitton Niseko Winter Resort pop-up store will open in Niseko, Hokkaido, a mountain resort that attracts travelers from all over the world. Prior to the opening, Louis Vuitton will introduce a yurt and gondola cabins featuring Louis Vuitton's iconic motifs at the Niseko Hanazono Resort from early December.
The pop-up store, which will be the first to open in a resort area in Japan, is located in a unique location overlooking the magnificent landscape of Mt. Yotei and the Niseko mountain range. Immersed in a world of beauty and silver, this exclusive space offers a sophisticated and full collection of selected women's and men's travel luggage, leather goods, ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, fragrances, watches and jewelry.
The Louis Vuitton yurt can be viewed near the Hanazono Symphony Gondola bottom station. Moreover, 10 of the 40 Hanazono Symphony Gondolas will be wrapped in Louis Vuitton iconic motifs, offering a unique and luxurious ride in the air. Gondola rides will be available during the winter season and will be open to all riders with a valid lift ticket, whether with or without snow riding equipment.

Resort Overview:
100km south of Sapporo, Niseko Hanazono Resort is located at the base of Mt. Annupuri, a part of the Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Kaigan Quasi-National Park and the eastern end of the Niseko mountain range stretching from the Japan sea. Hanazono is located northeast of Mt. Niseko-Annupuri and features the most favorable snow quality throughout the season. Hanazono Lift #1 has been upgraded to Japan's most luxurious 6-seater hooded chairlift with heated leather seats, and a 10-person gondola designed by Pininfarina of Italy has been installed, offering 360-degree view of the snowy landscape through its exceptionally large windows.
