Hanazono Lantern Festival 2026
Lantern flying is a cherished tradition celebrated during the Lunar New Year in Taiwan, symbolizing prayers for good health and happiness. The accompanying fireworks are believed to ward off evil spirits, creating a vibrant atmosphere that marks the beginning of the new year. The sight of countless lanterns soaring into the night sky, blending with the sparkle of fireworks, is truly breathtaking.

Hanazono Lantern Festival
Fly lanterns into the night sky and witness a magical display as they dance with the fireworks. Design your own lantern by drawing your wishes or illustrations, and add your personal touch to the beautiful display.
The lanterns use LED lights, making them safe for young children to join. With a string attached, the lanterns are flown into the sky and collected after the event, ensuring environmental care.

Price: ¥3,000 *Limited to the first 300 lanterns
*Depending on advance sales, lanterns may not be available for purchase on the day.

Important Notice
- Please keep the lantern attached to the string at all times. For environmental protection, cutting the string and releasing the lantern into the sky is not permitted.
- The lantern may be taken home. Depending on temperature and surrounding conditions, it may remain afloat indoors for about seven days.
We use eco-friendly LED lanterns and ensure they are fully collected. To help preserve the beautiful natural surroundings for future generations, please DO NOT release them into the sky.
