Road Closure on Route 276 (Bifue Pass)：LIFTED

REOPENED: Route 276 is closed between Sankaidaki-cho, Date City and Bifue, Chitose City due to the threat of a rock collapse.

If you plan to travel from New Chitose Airport to Kutchan, Niseko, or Toyako, you will need to make a detour.

As of May 25, the road closure (one-way alternating traffic) is scheduled to be lifted in early August.
As of July 14, the road closure is lifted. (down to one lane)
